Sherry grew up helping her grandmother in the vegetable garden - planting, picking, canning, and cooking. Her experiences taught her to appreciate fresh, local, seasonal foods. She left high-tech in 2005 to start Culinary Getaways and introduce guests to the riches of the Napa Valley, Paris, Provence and Tuscany. An avid chef, Sherry has learned from chefs the world over - from Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons near Oxford to Le Cordon Bleu in London, to Paris, Provence, Japan, Italy and California
